Dear Newcomers,

Thank you for your interest in MiCAPELLA!

We are a young chamber choir with about 40 - 60 singers from all around the world. Alongside many Munich locals, the choir consists of many members who are new in town, making it a great way to meet new people. As we are an international choir and want to encourage exchange students and young international professionals who are only in Munich for a short time to join, it is possible to join us for only one semester. This means there are always new faces and new people to meet! We sing choral works of all styles, but do have a focus on classical a Capella music of all epochs.

We meet every Wednesday at 7pm to work on our concert program. Additionally, there is one rehearsal weekend and, if necessary, rehearsal day(s) on the weekend. At the end of each semester (early/mid-February and mid/late-July) we give a concert in Munich. Rehearsal phases align with lecture periods at the large universities, so a new project always starts at the beginning of a semester. At this point in time, new members can join the choir.

If you’re interested in joining us, check out the details on our auditions page. We are looking forward to meeting you!
